Lechuguilla Romel Lot 6 by Sotoleros is an excellent sotol distillate produced in the Chihuahua desert, Mexico, an area that imparts a characteristic minerality and complexity to the sotol. Made from the distillation of Dasylirion, a plant similar to agave but with a unique aromatic profile, this sotol stands out for its deep territorial expression. The artisanal process, accompanied by a meticulous aging process, enhances notes of dried herbs, sun-baked earth, and a slight smoky hint, intertwined with balsamic and spicy undertones. On the palate, it reveals harmony, with an elegant and persistent texture, capable of evoking the landscape of northern Mexico. Perfect to enjoy neat to appreciate all its nuances, Lechuguilla Romel Lot 6 pairs well with boards of aged cheeses or dishes based on spiced white meat, enhancing the richness of the land from which it comes.
