The Marsala DOC Superiore Riserva Secco 2000 of Florio is an authentic oenological gem of Sicilian tradition, produced in the renowned Marsala area. This fortified wine is made from selected grapes of Grillo, Catarratto, and Inzolia, native varieties that provide intensity and aromatic complexity. Its maturation takes place in wooden barrels, where it rests for at least five years, developing a refined balance between floral, fruity notes and the characteristic dry sapidity.
On the nose, hints of toasted almond, candied citrus, and a pleasant spicy note are perceived. On the palate, it is harmonious, with a dry taste and a long persistence that leaves a delicate bitter sensation typical of Marsala Superiore Riserva. Ideal to accompany flavorful fish dishes, risottos, or aged cheeses, it represents a territorial excellence capable of telling the Sicilian oenological art through every sip.
