Marsala DOC Superiore Riserva Semi Secco 1974 by Aegusa, produced by the historic Florio winery, represents a true jewel of Sicilian winemaking tradition. Coming from the classic production area in the province of Trapani, this Marsala is made from selected grapes of Grillo, Catarratto, and Inzolia, typical of the area. The aging, carried out for a long time in wooden barrels according to the traditional method, gives the wine an extraordinary complexity, with aromatic notes ranging from honey and ripe figs to hints of toasted almond and sweet spices.

On the palate, it is balanced, with delicate sweetness and a persistent finish of slight freshness, typical of the Semi Secco. Perfect as a meditation wine or paired with pâté, aged cheeses, or dry sweets, this Marsala riserva is a living testimony of the Sicilian wine heritage, capable of evoking the history, terroir, and art of traditional production.
