The Merlot DOC signed Le Vigne di Zamò is born in a terroir rich in history and tradition, symbolizing a careful and respectful selection of the Friulian territory. Here, the Merlot grapes find the ideal environment to express themselves with vigor and finesse, thanks to the microclimate characterized by significant temperature variations and well-drained soils. After fermentation, the wine rests in oak barrels that enrich the structure without overpowering the varietal purity, giving softness and an aromatic complexity of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a light touch of vanilla.

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby color, while the nose reveals sensations of cherry, plum, and light toasted nuances. The tannin is elegant and well integrated, with a harmonious and persistent finish. It pairs splendidly with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean traditional dishes, proving to be a versatile and refined companion.
