The Merlot IGT of Casa Roma is born in a dedicated terroir, where the climatic balance favors optimal ripening of the grape variety. This Merlot presents itself with an intense ruby red color and enveloping aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by subtle notes of sweet spices and vanilla due to aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is soft, with silky tannins and a pleasant final persistence.
Ideal paired with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and savory dishes of traditional Italian cuisine, this wine tells the elegance and typical structure of Merlot in a contemporary and refined form.
