The Mezcal Arrequeno by Emigdio Jarquin is an authentic distilled spirit, the result of a handcrafted tradition rooted in the heart of Mexico, in the Oaxaca region. Made from the Arrequiño agave vine, rare and unique, this mezcal expresses an intense and complex character, with smoky notes that recall the slow cooking of the agave in traditional underground pits. The production method follows ancestral techniques: spontaneous fermentation and double distillation in copper stills, which give the product an elegant yet robust structure.

On the nose, aromas of wet earth, aromatic herbs, and a delicate touch of vanilla emerge, while on the palate there is a harmonious balance between the sweetness of the agave and the characteristic smokiness, accompanied by a vibrant persistence. Ideal pairing with Mexican cuisine dishes such as tacos and mole, or simply enjoyed neat to appreciate all its complexity.
