The Mezcal Arroqueño Olla De Barro by Los Siete Misterios emerges from the artisanal tradition of Oaxaca, the motherland of mezcal, highlighting the Agave Arroqueño grape with a distinctive and authentic character. This variety of agave, grown in natural conditions and hand-harvested, offers a deep and complex aromatic profile, rich in smoky, earthy, and slightly spicy notes, wrapped in a typical mineral scent of the local terroir.

The production follows ancestral methods: the cooking of the agaves in earth ovens, spontaneous fermentation, and distillation in copper stills, but here the peculiarity lies in the use of a traditional “olla de barro” for fermentation, which imparts softer and spicier nuances, with a rustic touch well balanced by the freshness of the distillate.

On the palate, the Arroqueño is silky and persistent, with hints of dried fruit, aromatic herbs, and a slight final sweetness. Excellent to taste neat, it pairs elegantly with robust Mexican cuisine dishes, such as grilled meats or spicy soups, revealing all the richness of the mezcal culture of Los Siete Misterios.
