Montecucco is an extremely pleasant wine that combines freshness, taste and balance in the best possible way with great typicality and an amazing quality/price ratio.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maturation for 18 months in barriques and tonneaux, partly new and partly second and third passage, followed by a short aging in the bottle.
In the glass it shows a beautiful ruby red color, the nose releases intense and persistent hints, with clear fruity aromas of blackberry and blueberry. On the palate it opens with a hint of laurel for a soft and harmonious taste, characterized by a fresh note and a long and pleasant finish supported by the right acidity.
Ideal throughout the meal, it goes perfectly with stuffed pasta, first courses with meat sauce and light second courses based on meat and cheese.
