An important and very full-bodied red. The Rosso Montefalco of the Le Cimate cellar is presented, with a strong and full body, and a consistent alcohol content. For lovers of strong wines, who with one sip let go of the deepest thoughts of the mind and of a long day.

Obtained from a complex and consistent mix of Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot and Sagrantino grapes. Clear, bright and consistent colour.

Inviting nose, with hints of plum and cherry. Enveloping, warm and soft in the mouth, with elegant tannins that blend well with the structure. It refines for 18 months in oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle, to give life to the full-bodied red. It goes splendidly with savory first courses and grilled meat.

The Cellar: Le Cimate

"There is no good wine without great dedication". Under the banner of this motto, the cellar of Paolo Bartoloni who chose to name his project "Le Cimate", inspired by the name from the hilly area in which the winery is located, which in fact is located at the top of a splendid hill with a panoramic view of the Martani mountains and the city of Montefalco. One of the secrets of the goodness of the wines is constituted precisely by the soils, of a moderately calcareous silty-clayey nature, deep and fresh with a south-east exposure and a planting pattern of 4200 plants per hectare. And so with so much dedication and after generations of farmers, important wines with a strong but balanced alcohol content are brought to light.
