Let’s talk about Musa Brut Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Metodo Classico - Magnum - Tenuta Musone

More questions

The Musa Brut Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Metodo Classico from Tenuta Musone is an elegant expression of one of the most fascinating DOCs of the Marche region. Produced with Verdicchio grapes, a typical variety of this area, it reveals a pleasant freshness and a lively structure, the result of a meticulous bottle fermentation according to the Metodo Classico. The Castelli di Jesi area, with its temperate climate and calcareous-clay soils, gives this sparkling wine a refined minerality and a delicate aromatic profile, featuring hints of green apple, citrus, and light floral nuances.

On the palate, it is harmonious and enveloping, with a fine and persistent bubble that accompanies balanced sapidity. Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany dishes based on fish and shellfish, the Musa Brut is a perfect interpreter of the Marche enological tradition and innovation. A magnum designed to celebrate special moments with style and authenticity.

The story
The Colognola winery is part of Tenuta Musone, acquired by entrepreneur Walter Darini in 2010. The estate combines agricultural and winemaking activities across a large family-owned property; vineyard and cellar work are overseen by a permanent team and a dedicated winemaker, with the aim of enhancing the area’s native grape varieties.
Production philosophy
Protecting the land and enhancing indigenous grape varieties through organic farming practices, reduced chemical inputs, natural ground cover and winemaking processes that prioritize the expression of the soil and local climate. The winery is designed with attention to environmental sustainability and hospitality.
Terroir and vineyards
Location: Colognola, municipality of Cingoli in the Marche, at about 360 m above sea level, on predominantly calcareous soils with a foothill microclimate extending to the slopes of Monte San Vicino; the area enhances the expression of Verdicchio and Montepulciano.
Awards and recognition
Accolades include Tre Bicchieri for the wine Ghiffa, mentions and listings in national guides and specific awards for sparkling wines: winner of the Autochtona Award with the Verdicchio Metodo Classico "Musa" and recognitions in international competitions/evaluations. Recently Tenuta Musone received the "Premio delle Signore" at Premio Bollicine 2025 for its interpretation of Verdicchio.
