Orfeo is made from Negroamaro grapes, one variety of vine very widespread in the surroundings of the provinces of Lecce and Brindisi; And an Apulian wine that ages for three months in steel, one year in barrique, and a further three months in bottle before being put on the market.
An extremely soft and round red wine that shows off a beautiful ruby red color in the glass, with light garnet reflections. The nose has clear fruity aromas of berries, accompanied by spicy references. In the mouth the taste is warm, full and with an excellent tannic texture, with a very satisfying long and persistent finish.
It is recommended to combine it with structured and substantial first courses such as pappardelle with hare sauce.
