The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru 2021 - Les Cailles, produced by the acclaimed Domaine Alain Michelot, is a refined and intensely expressive red wine. Featuring a deep ruby color, this Pinot Noir enhances the bright terroir of Burgundy from which it originates. On the nose, it opens with seductive aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, and subtle notes of damp earth and sweet spices, also thanks to its aging in French oak barrels.

On the palate, the wine is structured and complex, with a velvety texture that perfectly balances the lively acidity and well-integrated tannins. The flavors of red fruit blend with shades of dark chocolate and a hint of allspice, leading to a persistent and aromatic finish.

This Premier Cru is already delightful now, but it also has great aging potential. Elegant and powerful, it is ideal for accompanying rich dishes like roast red meats, mushroom-based dishes, or aged cheeses. A true jewel of Burgundy that promises to evolve beautifully in the coming years.
