In the glass it shows a garnet color with slight brick reflections, a sign of long evolution over time. On the nose it opens with fairly clear mature and tertiary notes: dried red fruit, hints of undergrowth, leather and a touch of sweet spices that do not overpower the overall profile. On the palate it keeps a fine structure: tannins still present but softened by age, lively acidity that gives lift and a savory thread that supports the wine’s persistence. The overall impression is of a wine now leaning toward balance, where depth and clarity on the palate make it pleasant to drink despite its robust nature. Ideal after careful aeration, it is best enjoyed at not too high a temperature (around 16–18 °C) to enhance the aromatic profile without weighing it down.

It pairs characterfully with dishes of great structure: braised dishes, meats served with reduced sauces and aged cheeses; it also works well with savory preparations that echo its freshness. A wine to be savored slowly, perfect for those seeking character and history in the glass.
