The Rhum Agricole Select Casks 2009 Karukera is born in the fertile lands of Martinique, the beating heart of the Caribbean tradition of rhum agricole, distilled exclusively from fresh sugar cane juice. This vintage, the result of a patient selection of the best barrels, stands out for its complexity and finesse, characteristics acquired during a long aging process that enhances the natural tones of the cane.

On the nose, it is rich and enveloping, with warm notes of vanilla, sweet spices, and a subtle trace of ripe tropical fruit, anticipating a soft and structured sip. On the palate, it is balanced, with a delicate harmony between the original sweetness and the savoriness brought by the wood, offering sensations of caramel, honey, and a light hint of smokiness. The finish is long and harmonious, leaving a pleasant sensation of citrus freshness.

This rhum pairs perfectly with desserts based on exotic fruit or dark chocolate, but also provides great tasting satisfaction when enjoyed neat, elegantly celebrating the production territory and the artisanal process that distinguishes it.
