The Rhum Hampden Great House Distiller Ed.23-24 is a unique distillate that comes from the famous Hampden Estate distillery, located in the vibrant Jamaican jungle. Made exclusively with locally grown cane molasses, this rum embodies the pure essence of the traditional pot still style, recognizable for its intense and complex structure.
The distillation process takes place in copper stills, the so-called pot still, which gives the product body and depth, preserving the raw aromas of the cane. The aging is done in American oak barrels that gently age the distillate, imparting notes of toasted wood, tobacco, and sweet spices.
With a bold and deep character, Hampden Great House opens with aromas of ripe tropical fruit, citrus, and a touch of black pepper, offering a vibrant and spicy persistence on the palate. Perfect to enjoy neat or as a precious base for sophisticated cocktails, it is an authentic tribute to the Caribbean terroir and the tradition of Jamaican rum.
