The Ronchedone by Ca' dei Frati is a wine of exceptional quality that captivates wine enthusiasts with its intensity and complexity. Produced in the renowned area of Lake Garda, this red wine is an excellent example of the Dal Cero family's winemaking skill and passion, which has been dedicated to viticulture for three generations.

Ronchedone is primarily composed of Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Cabernet grapes, which are carefully selected and hand-picked. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by at least 14 months of aging in French oak barriques, imparting the wine with a robust structure and complex aromatic notes.

With an intense ruby color and garnet highlights, Ronchedone offers a rich and persistent bouquet, featuring scents of ripe red fruits, spicy notes of black pepper, and a delicate hint of vanilla from the wood aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a beautiful balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins that lead to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Ideal to pair with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, Ronchedone is a wine appreciated for its strength and elegance. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully enjoy its qualities. Produced with passion and dedication, Ronchedone by Ca' dei Frati represents an excellent choice for those seeking a wine of character and depth.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
