The Rosato Etna DOC Terrazze Dell’Etna is born in the heart of Etna, one of the most fascinating and complex volcanic areas in Italy, where the mineral-rich soil gives the wine a unique personality. Made mainly with the Nerello Mascalese grape, a symbol of this denomination, this rosato expresses freshness and minerality from the very first sip.

The traditional winemaking method preserves the elegance and fragrance of the fruit, with aging in steel to maintain the intense aromas of cherry, strawberry, and floral notes. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, with a pleasant sapidity that recalls the volcanic nature of the terroir.

Perfect as a summer companion, it pairs well with fish dishes, salads, and light appetizers, offering a refined and light organoleptic experience capable of exciting with its authentic territoriality.

Winery history
Terrazze dell'Etna was born as a family project led by Nino Bevilacqua with the aim of recovering old vineyards, traditional wine presses and terraces in the Etna area. The estate was established in 2008 and developed by restoring the historic structure of the terraces and renovating the traditional production spaces, later integrating modern cellar technologies.
Production philosophy
The winery states an approach that places the land and craftsmanship at the center: respect for the vine’s natural cycle, hands-on work in the terraced vineyards, and a balance of tradition and innovation. Terrazze dell'Etna aims to tell the story of the place through wines that reflect Etna’s volcanic personality, combining artisanal care, aesthetic attention and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the northwest slope of Mount Etna, within the Etna Natural Park. The vineyards are planted on terraces at various altitudes in contrade such as Bocca d'Orzo, Statella, Calderara and Allegracore; the soils are of volcanic origin and the microclimate is influenced by the proximity of the volcano.
Awards and recognitions
Critical recognition for individual wines, including 5 Grappoli from Bibenda, awards and mentions in guides such as Falstaff and Veronelli for wines like Cirneco, Carusu and il Rosato; the winery publishes an awards section with details by year and by wine.
