Rosso di Montalcino from the Ventolaio cellar, is a young wine that can be enjoyed immediately, or let it develop in the bottle for a few years. It is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes, in a classic and elegant guise from one of the iconic terroirs of this great grape variety.
The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the must is left to macerate for thirty days, the refinement is in wooden barrels for a year.
In the glass its color is a pale ruby red. The nose is expressed with floral hints, hints of acacia and eucalyptus, and continues with wonderful fruity notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied, soft and of good persistence.
Excellent in combination with first courses with truffles or porcini mushrooms, it goes perfectly with aged cheeses or with a roast with a side of potatoes.
The Rosso di Montalcino DOC of the Ventolaio company is a wine that amazes and conquers from the first sip: with persuasive scents, with a bouquet in which sweet tones follow one another.
Before uncorking it, it is advisable to keep it in a cool place for half an hour.
