Rosso di Montefalco DOC - Arnaldo Caprai 2020
VAT incl.
Cantina Caprai was born in 1971 and this wine is one of the first products from the winery; the first vintage dates back to 1975. Montefalco Rosso D.O.C. is a quality red, produced from the mix of three grape varieties: Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot. It is left to refine for 12 months in French oak barrels and at least 4 months in the bottle.
On the nose it is an explosion of aromas: wild flowers, red fruits and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate it is immediately dry and fresh; with the right softness that contrast with the tannins.
At the table it goes perfectly with appetizers of cured meats and medium-aged cheeses, succulent first courses and roasted white and red meats.
