The Rosso IGT Alpi Retiche "Roe" from Retica is a red IGT wine with a frank character and medium body. In the glass it shows a clear ruby color; on the nose it alternates notes of ripe red fruit, hints of small dark berries and light aromatic herb notes. The entry on the palate is immediate, with soft tannins and a balanced structure; the finish retains a fresh, savory note that invites another sip. The aromatic language remains simple and direct, without excess, suitable for those seeking an everyday yet carefully made wine.

It pairs well with homemade dishes: savory cured meats, semi-aged cheeses, meat-based sauces and preparations with mushrooms; it is also pleasant with rustic pizzas and traditional mountain dishes. Winery history
The project began around late 2018 from a friendship between the founders and the viticultural experience of Matteo's family; it developed by expanding owned vineyards and converting historic spaces into a winery. Retica today defines itself as an independent boutique winery.
Production philosophy
A romantic, artisanal approach to Valtellina Nebbiolo: attention to the full production chain, controlled experimentation, no reliance on distributors and a direct relationship with customers.
Terroir and vineyards
Owned vineyards in the Grumello and Inferno areas (Montagna in Valtellina, Sondrio), up to about 500 m asl; predominantly sandy-calcareous soils with stony content. Exclusive cultivation of Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) on terraced, heroic slopes with manual harvest.
