Ron Ocumare is a dark rum whose name derives from its geographical origin, Ocumare del Tuy, in northern Venezuela. A splendid land in the surroundings of Caracas, which with its particular typically tropical climate, hot during the day and cool at night, with high humidity and abundant rains, is perfect for the cultivation of sugar cane.

These crop-rich locations are capable of producing one of the best rums on the market. Of DOC designation, Ocumare Rum is aged for more than three years in smoked oak barrels, which previously contained bourbon.

A rum that brings within itself the natural richness of the Amazonian forests, the charm and flavor of the haciendas, and the mystery of nature that saw it born. 

It has a delicious caramel scent, with rawer notes of olives and leather.
It is extremely velvety and full, its aroma recalls the hints of ripe tropical fruit, grapes, spices and cocoa, with a nutty and fruity finish. A distillate that has an amber color, particularly rich and aromatic.
