The Sangiovese Appassimento DOC by Leonardo Da Vinci 1502 is born in a land dedicated to oenological excellence, where the Sangiovese grape expresses all its elegance and character. This withered interpretation enhances the grapes left to mature slowly, intensifying aromas and flavors in a full-bodied and enveloping wine. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits, plum, spirit-soaked cherry emerge, accompanied by delicate spicy and slightly balsamic hints.

On the palate, it reveals itself soft, with well-integrated tannins that support a balanced structure, continuing with a long and pleasant persistence. The aging, generally carried out in wooden barrels, provides further complexity and roundness, enhancing the rich and warm nature of the withered Sangiovese. Perfectly paired with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this wine tells the Tuscan tradition through a modern and engaging sensory language.
