The Sangiovese Romagna DOC Riserva Magnum from Domus Caia by Ferrucci is the epitome of varietal expression of Sangiovese cultivated in the rich and bountiful lands of Romagna. This exclusive wine is produced only in the best vintages, following a stringent process of grape selection.

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a period of aging in oak barrels ranging from 12 to 18 months, and further maturation in the bottle. Thanks to this meticulous care, the Sangiovese Riserva acquires complexity and structure that distinctly set it apart.

Visually, it presents an intense ruby red color, tending toward garnet with aging. On the nose, it offers a broad and persistent bouquet, with notes of ripe cherry, plum, violets, and a subtle vein of spices and tobacco derived from the wood aging. On the palate, it is rich, velvety, and has a solid tannic structure that promises excellent aging potential. The tannins are well integrated and harmoniously balanced with the typical freshness of the grape variety.

The Magnum format of this Sangiovese Romagna DOC Riserva not only ensures a better evolution of the wine but also makes it an ideal choice for celebrating special occasions. It is perfect to accompany hearty dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. Tasting it, one appreciates not just the quality of the wine but also the passion and winemaking tradition that Ferrucci infuses into every creation.
