The Sangiovese Romagna Superiore DOC "Taibo" from Tenuta Santa Lucia is a red wine that perfectly embodies the essence of the Romagnol soils, deeply nourished and generous. This refined Sangiovese is made with a scrupulous selection of the best Sangiovese grapes, cultivated using sustainable methods that respect both the terroir and the environment.

Visually, it presents an intense ruby red color, foreshadowing the olfactory complexity of the wine. On the nose, the "Taibo" offers a rich bouquet of aromas: ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums blend with spicy notes of black pepper and a delicate aftertaste of tobacco and leather, enriched by a light vanillin coming from aging in wood.

On the palate, it is structured and well-balanced, with a vigorous entrance and notable persistence. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, contributing to a velvety palate, while the typical acidity of the Sangiovese keeps the wine fresh and lively. Aging in oak barrels for several months confers a pleasant complexity and rounds out the taste profile of this wine.

The Sangiovese "Taibo" is ideal to accompany dishes from traditional Romagnol cuisine, such as tagliatelle with ragù or grilled meat dishes and roasts. It is also an excellent companion for an evening of tasting aged cheeses and cured meats.

Produced by Tenuta Santa Lucia, this Sangiovese Romagna Superiore DOC represents an excellent choice for wine lovers who appreciate reds that are rich in character and territorial history. A true gem from Romagna that promises to evolve beautifully over the years.
