Sauvignon Isonzo - Tenuta Luisa 2022
|REGION||Friuli Venezia Giulia|
Sauvignon is a vine with white berried grapes of French origin. The name derives, in fact, from the French word "sauvage", which means wild. This French vine then spread throughout the world, also arriving in the territory of Cormôns, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is precisely in this place that Tenuta Luisa cultivates its vines, which it then subjects to cold skin maceration, decantation and 12-day fermentation, in order to obtain Sauvignon Isonzo. Before being considered ready, however, Sauvignon Isonzo is left to rest for 6 months on noble lees and for 2 in the bottle.
This golden yellow wine has an aroma reminiscent of the garden, in particular tomato leaves, peppers and sage. In the mouth it releases a harmonious flavor, with excellent acidity.
Sauvignon Isonzo is perfect to combine with fish-based dishes.
