The Amontillado del Puerto by Gonzales Byass, in the 50 cl version offered by Lustau, is an emblematic example of the sherry tradition of Jerez, in the heart of Andalusia. This Amontillado comes from a careful selection of Palomino grapes, grown in clayey and calcareous soils typical of the area, which give the wine aromaticity and balanced structure.

Characterized by an aging process that begins with the typical flor, the layer of yeast that protects the wine from oxidation, it then evolves through oxidative maturation in American oak barrels, developing complexity and rich notes. Its amber color and aromas of toasted nuts, almonds, and a slight hint of caramel evoke the dual soul of this sherry.

On the palate, it is elegant and persistent, with a perfect balance between softness and freshness, while the sapidity highlights its versatility in pairings: excellent with mushroom dishes, white meats, or as a refined accompaniment to aged cheeses. An authentic expression of the Jerez territory, designed for enthusiasts seeking intensity and complexity in a compact format.
