The Sherry Amontillado Los Arcos di Lustau is a refined example of the winemaking tradition of the Jerez region, in the heart of Andalusia. This amontillado is made from Palomino grapes, carefully selected to express the elegance and depth typical of the area. The aging process is twofold: an initial phase under a layer of flor yeast imparts freshness and complexity, while a subsequent oxidation enriches its structure and aromas. This double maturation takes place in American oak barrels according to the solera system, which allows for a unique balance between liveliness and smoothness.
In the glass, it shows an intense amber color, accompanied by evocative notes of walnuts, toasted almonds, sweet spices, and hints of dry wood. The taste is harmonious, with a pleasant saltiness and a touch of bitterness highlighting its dry and decisive character. The Sherry Amontillado Los Arcos fully expresses the richness of the Jerez landscape, offering a complex and memorable sensory experience.
Ideal to accompany aged cheeses, flavorful shellfish, and mushroom-based dishes, it is also perfect as an aperitif for connoisseurs seeking a versatile wine with an ancient charm.
