The Sicilia Cabernet Franc DOC by Planeta is born from vineyards cultivated in the lands rich in history and sun of eastern Sicily, where the Mediterranean climate favors a perfect ripening of the Cabernet Franc grape. This wine presents itself with an intense and deep ruby color, an expression of the volcanic and mineral territory that enriches its character. After fermentation, the aging takes place in French oak barriques, which impart elegant spicy notes and aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by herbaceous nuances characteristic of Cabernet Franc.

On the nose, it opens with intense scents of blackberry and black pepper, while on the palate it reveals itself full and harmonious, with soft tannins and a pleasant freshness that enhance its drinkability. Perfect paired with grilled red meats or aged cheeses, this wine represents a refined interpretation of the Sicilian winemaking heritage.
