The Spumante Alta Langa DOCG Hundred Sixty Six Brut by Fontanafredda is born in the heart of the Langhe, a territory renowned for the production of elegant and structured sparkling wines. Made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, typical of this Piedmontese area, it best expresses the complexity given by the altitude and the cool climate. The aging takes place with the classic method, with a long fermentation sur lies that gives finesse to the bubbles and aromatic richness. In the glass, it presents a fine and persistent perlage, while on the nose it offers scents of yeast, ripe white fruit, and hints of bread crust. On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious, and vibrant, with a pleasant minerality that underlines its balance. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with delicate fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses, this sparkling wine represents a refined expression of the Piedmontese sparkling wine tradition.
