Terre Millésime 2015 by Geoffroy is an extraordinary example of Pinot Noir from the renowned Côte de Nuits region, in the heart of Burgundy. This wine embodies the elegance and complexity that characterize exceptional vintages, thanks to a particularly favorable harvest that ensured a perfect balance between maturity and freshness of the grapes. The unique terroir, with its limestone and clay soils, imparts to the wine a refined structure and a persistent minerality that enhances its depth.

The long aging in French oak barrels, combined with a rigorous vineyard selection, gives this Pinot Noir elegant notes of ripe cherry, undergrowth, and delicate spicy hints, accompanied by a velvety tannic texture and a long, harmonious finish. Terre Millésime 2015 thus presents itself with an intense and transparent ruby color, perfectly balanced between freshness and aromatic complexity.

Perfect paired with mushroom dishes, white meats, and aged cheeses, this wine represents a true enological heritage of Burgundy, capable of evolving magnificently with years in the cellar.

Champagne Geoffroy – Winery in Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)

Discover the story and wines of Champagne Geoffroy.

Family-run Champagne house operating as a récoltant-manipulant, with vineyards mainly in Cumières (Premier Cru) and a working cellar in Aÿ. It produces expressive cuvées, benefiting from parcel-by-parcel vinification and technical choices focused on freshness.
Region: Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
Vineyards concentrated mainly in Cumières. Declared vineyard area: 14 hectares. Declared varietal percentages: approximately 24% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Meunier, 42% Pinot Noir. The winery and winemaking operations were relocated to Aÿ in 2008. Winemaking practices focused on preserving freshness and the use of traditional pressing.
Winery history
The Geoffroy family has cultivated vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne since the 17th century. In the early 1950s Roger Geoffroy began bottling under his own name. Management then passed to René and later to Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, who moved the winemaking and commercial operations to Aÿ in 2008. The house has grown while remaining family-run and involving the next generation.
Production philosophy
Production aims to respect the soil and the vineyard’s expression: minimal vineyard work and winemaking conducted parcel by parcel. In the cellar, priority is given to traditional pressing, gravity transfers and choices intended to preserve freshness. Blending and dosage are decided to enhance the wine’s natural balance.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyard covers 14 hectares, divided into plots across the hills of Damery, Hautvillers, Fleury-la-Rivière and, notably, Cumières, a village classified Premier Cru in the Vallée de la Marne. The land is fragmented into numerous clos and parcels that provide diverse varietal expressions typical of the region.
