The Red Wine from Overripe Grapes "Occhi di Starna" produced by Tenuta Santa Lucia is an enological gem that originates from the meticulous selection of grapes left to wither on the vine. This technique allows for maximum concentration of sugars and aromas in the fruit, resulting in an intensively rich and structured wine.

This wine presents itself with a deep, seductive amber-red color. On the nose, complex notes of mature red fruit, sweet spices, and hints of tobacco and chocolate are immediately revealed, a result of carefully monitored maturation both in the vineyard and in the cellar. On the palate, the wine surprises with its perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, leading to a long and persistently aromatic finish.

Ideal as a meditation wine, "Occhi di Starna" pairs splendidly with blue cheeses, chocolate-based desserts, or dried fruits and is also perfect as the conclusion of a refined dinner.

Serve at a temperature of 14-16°C to enhance its aromatic richness. Tenuta Santa Lucia also recommends a short decanting period before service to allow the wine to express all its complex nuances fully.

A sublime expression of the territory that is sure to amaze fans of the genre, "Occhi di Starna" is a wine that demonstrates how passion and innovation can go hand in hand in high-quality wine production.
