The Whisky Single Malt The Octave Range Strathmill 2010 11Yo by Duncan Taylor stands out for its refined elegance and the originality of its maturation. Coming from the Strathmill distillery, located in the Speyside region, famous for its delicate and fruity malts, this whisky clearly expresses the typical characteristics of the area. The aging method is particularly interesting: after a long maturation in American oak barrels, the spirit is transferred to small "octave" casks, which amplify its aromatic concentration, offering an intense and enveloping complexity.

On the nose, notes of honey, yellow-fleshed fruit, and light sweet spices emerge, evolving into a soft yet structured palate, with hints of vanilla, toasted almond, and a delicately mineral finish. Ideal for those who love balanced but character-rich single malts, it is perfect to accompany moments of contemplative tasting or to enhance a dish based on aged cheeses or white meats. A sensory journey into the peculiar nuances of Speyside.
