The Cerreto Piano by Terenzi company is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, in the DOCG Morellino di Scansano and DOC Maremma denominations. Their wines fully represent the beauty and authentic passion of this splendid land, showing elegance, freshness and pleasantness. The Maremma is a great treasure unique in the world with its cypresses and immense vineyards in southern Tuscany, the one that can look at the sea closely and accompany you to the islands.

An enchanting territory rich in history and ancient food and wine traditions. The perfectly aligned vineyards and rows draw the contours of the vast areas with the clay-colored soil and the gaze is lost to the sea or to the mountains and villages perched on the hills.

Today in Tuscany some of the most prestigious and well-known wines in the world are produced, the result of a rich region and a particularly dry climate in summer and not freezing in winter, a typical Italian Mediterranean climate.

When we talk about Maremma we say Sangiovese and Vermentino, but Cerreto Piano wanted to field other vines that have given excellent results such as Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Viognier, to demonstrate that its land is endowed with a broader enological vocation and still not fully appreciated today.

The Terenzi family has introduced new technologies into the cellar without overturning with innovation, as it has turned out that the wines can be accompanied in winemaking without great technological support.
