Carpineta Fontalpino is a farm and winery located in the heart of Tuscany, very close to Siena, founded in 1967 by Italo Cresti. Today the company is headed by Italo's children, Filippo and Gioia, together with Sara, the young family. 

Gioia is the oenologist, and deals with all production processes from winemaking to aging; Filippo deals with the commercialization of wine, communication and marketing. Sara is the future: she continues the family tradition with her studies in Oenology at the University of Florence, she takes care of hospitality, tastings and representative visits in Italy and abroad.

The proprietary lands extend for about 90 hectares, of which 30 of vineyard area, cultivated in organic farming. This choice derives from an inner need, and from the historical principles of the family; with the aim of making the grapes arrive in the cellar healthy and perfect, ripe at the right point, capable of giving a great organic wine. In 2008 the Fattoria Carpineta Fontalpino obtained the certification of Organic Farm. 

The attention paid to the countryside continues in the cellar, where every phase of the transformation of the grapes, of the production and of the aging of the wine is scrupulously followed in order to ensure that each product can best express every nuance, in a completely natural way. and sustainable.
