La Palazzetta Winery
Flavio and Carla started making wine with just one hectare of Sangiovese. It was 1988 and it is from that moment that the history of La Palazzetta began, a company located in Montalcino that has honored respect and love for the land for generations and today continues with their children Luca and Tea.
Today the company owns 20 hectares of vineyards and produces Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Sant'Antimo Rosso DOC, whose natural processing and production principles will receive organic certification from the 2018 harvest.
After thirty years of experience, tradition and innovation, the grapes are still hand-picked and accompanied to the cellar in the natural winemaking process; fermentation at a controlled temperature, aging in mainly French oak barrels, and aging in a “lightened” bottle.
In 2016 La Palazzetta received the Ecofriendly Winery Diploma from the Vini Buoni d'Italia Guide for the production of wines that respect the health and well-being of consumers thanks to the implementation of projects based on the values of environmental sustainability and the implementation of plans aimed at to energy saving.
