The company covers an area of over 30 hectares of which more than 18 are vineyards and the rest are woods; the entire area involved is located at an altitude between 400 and 200 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Collio Goriziano on the edge of the Plessiva Natural Park. This connection between the wooded area and the vineyards, linked to extremely environmentally friendly cultivation techniques, allows the company to create an eco-sustainable viticulture to protect and guarantee a better future for our consumers and the surrounding environment.

The particular arrangement of the vineyards in terraces called "ronchi", and the presence of some colonies of badgers which in the period in which the grapes are sweet and ripe become greedy consumers, give rise to the name of the winery.

Ronco dei Tassi is a family-run winery; Lhe production philosophy is built first of all on careful control during the cultivation phase and in the vineyard training systems, with frequent qualitative and quantitative tests that allow for the transformation of the grapes in the healthiest and most natural way possible. All this allows us to be able to preserve and guarantee the typical characteristics and quality of the fruit and the territory from which it originates to the final product.
