Valle Isarco Winery

Cantina Valle Isarco, in German Eisacktaler Kellerei, is a very important cooperative in the history of wine in South Tyrol. It was born in 1962 with 24 winegrowing members headed by Anton Gfader, the first director. Today the winery has about 130 members located in 11 municipalities, for a total of 150 hectares of vineyards.

Valle Isarco is a territory with very variable altitudes, ranging from 350 to 950 m a.s.l. The soils rich in minerals are exposed to healthy alpine breezes and to excellent solar exposures and strong thermal excursions. The young and attentive winemaker Hannes Munter gives support and collaboration to each individual member in order to obtain a product of excellence.

In the past only red wine was produced, but today the production is centered on whites characterized by extreme elegance, minerality and freshness. This distinguishes all the labels produced by Valle Isarco, which have become a point of reference for wine lovers from all over the world also due to the excellent quality / price ratio with which they are offered.

The “Aristos” line stands out for its high quality and includes all the varieties of white grape varieties grown at the highest altitudes: Muller Thurgau, Riesling, Kerner, Sylvaner, Veltliner, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
