Winery Fabio Motta

Fabio Motta, who trained professionally while working at the Michele Satta winery, launched his own winemaking venture, bottling a personal vision tied to the local territory. The estate has been active since 2009 and has maintained a focused, carefully controlled production over the years; recently the ownership joined the Agricole Gussalli Beretta group, with Fabio remaining responsible for style and production.

Vineyard work and winemaking choices focused on respecting the vintage and the soil: a tailored, sustainable approach that seeks to bring out the differences in soil and climate in every label.

Located in Castagneto Carducci in the Bolgheri area, the estate cultivates vineyards on sandy-clay soils exposed to sea breezes, which contribute to the freshness and character of the grapes.

Multiple award-winning and critically rated labels: among the recognitions listed are high scores from Decanter and Vinum, ratings from Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator, and accolades from Slow Wine, Mundus Vini and Jancis Robinson.
