Tuscan cooperative winery based in Gaiole in Chianti, active in the production and promotion of the area's appellations (Chianti Classico, Chianti Colli Senesi, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Brunello di Montalcino).
Founded as a cooperative in Gaiole in Chianti through the union of several growers, Geografico has grown over time, adding a production site in San Gimignano and becoming a reference point for Sienese appellations. In recent years it has joined the Tenute Piccini project, which has initiated a technical and organizational relaunch by partnering with prominent oenological consultants.
Production philosophy
The winery places people, the land and the wine’s identity at its core: it offers agronomic and production support to its grower-members and uses modern winery technologies to enhance the distinctive qualities of local grape varieties, balancing tradition and innovation.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards and production are concentrated in the Tuscan hills of Chianti, with additional production areas in San Gimignano and Montalcino. The range includes Chianti Classico, Chianti Colli Senesi, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Brunello di Montalcino.
