Librandi is a family-owned company that has been active for several generations. Bottling began in 1953 in Cirò Marina; over the decades the company expanded its properties and facilities and launched research and conservation projects for Calabria's ampelographic heritage, creating a collection vineyard of around 200 varieties and implementing clonal selection programs.
Production philosophy
The winery combines respect for local tradition with a scientific approach: it aims to recover and enhance Calabrian indigenous grape varieties, pursue viticultural practices focused on quality and sustainability, and transform the regional heritage into wines that tell the story of the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards and wineries are located in the eastern area of Calabria, with the company headquarters in Cirò Marina and six main estates. The vineyards extend across various exposures and altitudes within the Val di Neto and Cirò areas, regions historically suited to vine cultivation.
Awards and recognition
The winery and its wines have received national and international recognition. Among the recent mentions on the website: Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso 2026 for Duca Sanfelice and 5 Grappoli Bibenda 2026 for Gravello.
