The “Summa” Custoza Superiore DOC Organic from Gorgo winery encapsulates all the qualities of an exceptionally elegant and refined organic white wine, produced in the heart of the Veneto region. This wine is the result of a careful selection of organic grapes, handpicked in the most suited vineyards of the estate.

Visually, the "Summa" presents itself with a soft straw-yellow color, enriched by subtle greenish reflections that emphasize its freshness. On the nose, it opens with a complex and inviting bouquet: notes of white-fleshed fruit like apple and pear blend with hints of wildflowers and a light trace of aromatic herbs, typical of the Veneto flora.

In the mouth, the wine is surprisingly lively and fresh. The acidity is well balanced and supports a medium structure that develops into a rich and harmonious palate. The flavors of citrus and fresh fruit persist in the finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and persistence.

The production process follows rigorous organic standards, with strict respect for the territory and biodiversity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at controlled temperatures, to preserve all the primary aromas of the grapes and ensure the purity of the taste profile.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Custoza Superiore DOC Organic "Summa" pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish-based dishes, or vegetables, and can be particularly surprising with delicate risottos or vegetarian dishes. A true gem of organic production that reflects the skill and passion of the Gorgo winery for high-quality and sustainable wines.

Commitment to wine tourism hospitality and distinctive architectural interventions. National and international recognition: mentions in Gambero Rosso, Decanter and Mundus Vini for some labels.
Winery history
The estate is led by the Bricolo family: parents Alberta and Roberto started the business, and it is now managed by their daughter Roberta. According to the winery, it was founded by the parents in 1975; in 2014 the current owners began the conversion to organic viticulture, which resulted in vineyard certification. Over the years the facilities have been expanded with architectural additions focused on hospitality and wine tourism.
Production philosophy
The company's philosophy centers on organic viticulture and sustainability: the organic approach is regarded as an indispensable choice to safeguard health and the land and to enhance the relationship between soil, vine and climate, with winemaking planned already in the vineyard.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the moraine hills around the village of Custoza, in the municipality of Sommacampagna, on glacially derived soils rich in pebbles and calcium carbonate, which impart minerality and salinity to the wines, typical of the Lake Garda area.
Awards and recognitions
Among the recognitions reported by the press and industry platforms are: Tre Bicchieri for the Custoza 'San Michelin'; international awards such as a Silver Medal and mentions in Decanter for the Custoza Superiore 'Summa'; and Mundus Vini medals for wines such as Ca' Nova.
