The Montessu IGT in Magnum format by Agripunica represents one of the most fascinating expressions of red wine produced in Sardinia, born from the collaboration between the Cantina Sociale of Santadi and the renowned Tenuta San Guido, known for the famous Sassicaia. This wine, which highlights the Carignano grape accompanied by a blend of international varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, is a brilliant example of how tradition and innovation can merge to create a unique and high quality product.

Presented in an impressive Magnum format, which not only increases its aesthetic value but also contributes to a slower and more gradual aging of the wine, Montessu IGT best expresses the potential of the Sardinian terroir. The choice of grapes, the care in winemaking and the aging in wood combine to offer a wine of extraordinary complexity and depth.

Visually, Montessu presents itself with an intense and vibrant ruby red color, with reflections that demonstrate its richness. On the nose, the wine opens with a broad spectrum of aromas, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits, spices, and balsamic and toasted accents that reflect the elegant passage in wood. This complex aromatic bouquet invites tasting, promising a rich olfactory and gustatory experience.

On the palate, Montessu IGT demonstrates an excellent tannic structure, balanced by a lively acidity that gives freshness and drinkability. The flavors of red and black fruit intertwine with spicy, chocolate and vanilla notes, culminating in a long and persistent finish that leaves an impression of elegance and harmony.

The Magnum format of Montessu IGT makes it an ideal choice for special occasions, where the wine becomes the protagonist of the table, accompanying intense and savory dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts, game dishes and mature cheeses. Its ability to evolve and enrich itself over time also makes it an excellent candidate for the wine cellar of enthusiasts.

In conclusion, Agripunica's Montessu IGT Magnum is a testimony to the high oenological quality achievable in Sardinia through collaboration between renowned producers and attention to sustainability and the valorisation of native and international varieties, offering an unforgettable tasting experience that enhances the richness of the Sardinian territory.
