Winery history Agripunica

Agripunica was established as a joint project in the early 2000s, led by winemaker Giacomo Tachis together with representatives of Tenuta San Guido and Cantina di Santadi. With the first vintage, production was developed using the estates acquired in Barrua and Narcao in the Basso Sulcis, focusing on showcasing the territory and local grape varieties alongside international varieties.

Production philosophy

Showcase the potential of Sulcis by combining local tradition with modern winemaking techniques; focusing on vineyard selection, controlled winemaking and aging in wood to produce wines of character and international standing.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Basso Sulcis, with vineyards in the localities of Barrua and Narcao near Santadi and Narcao. Soils are described as sandy and calcareous, with a strong maritime influence.
