The Rosso IGT Isola dei Nuraghi "Barrua" in 375ml format by Agripunica is a wine that testifies to the exceptional meeting between Sardinian winemaking tradition and oenological innovation. Agripunica is the result of a collaboration between two giants of the wine world: the Sardinian Argiolas family and the Tuscan company Tenuta San Guido, famous for the legendary Sassicaia. This synergy aims to enhance the unique terroir of Sardinia, in particular the Sulcis area, through the production of high quality red wines that reflect the richness and complexity of the native and international vines.

"Barrua" is mainly composed of Carignano grapes, integrated with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which together create a harmonious and intensely expressive blend. The Carignano grapes, grown on ancient saplings in the sandy soils of Sulcis, give the wine extraordinary concentration and depth, while the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot add structure, complexity and a rich variety of aromas.

The vinification of "Barrua" involves fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by refinement in French oak barriques, which enriches the wine with toasted and vanilla notes, perfectly integrating the power and complexity of the fruit with the finesse and elegance derived from wood.

At sight, "Barrua" has an intense and deep ruby red color. On the nose, the wine offers a wide spectrum of aromas, dominated by notes of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberries, cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of chocolate and vanilla, which reflect the elegant passage in barriques.

In the mouth, the wine is rich and complex, with a well-balanced tannic structure that supports drinking. The lively acidity balances the richness of the ripe fruit flavors, leading to a long and persistent finish, with an inviting mineral vein that adds further complexity to the sip.

Ideal as an accompaniment to robust dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, such as roast meats, lamb dishes, mature cheeses and dishes rich in flavours, the Rosso IGT Isola dei Nuraghi "Barrua" in 375ml format from Agripunica is an expression of high quality of Sardinian viticulture, capable of offering an intense and unforgettable tasting experience
