The Corbières Rouge from Domaine des Deux Cles is a splendid example that magnificently represents the richness and complexity of the terroir of Southern France. This wine is primarily produced from Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan grapes, known for its robust and lively profile.

On the nose, the Corbières Rouge offers an intriguing bouquet of ripe red fruits, subtle spices, and a hint of wild herbs, typical of Mediterranean varieties. On the palate, the wine expresses vigorous notes of blackberries, cherries, and a touch of black pepper, all framed by well-integrated tannins and a freshness that invites the next sip.

The balance between the intense fruit and vibrant acidity is impeccable, making this wine extremely enjoyable to drink now, yet also promising for aging over a few years. Perfect to pair with hearty dishes like roasts, stews, or aged cheeses, the Corbières Rouge from Domaine des Deux Cles is a true gem for lovers of authentic and passionate expressions of French wine.

Small Corbières domaine (Languedoc, France) known for minimal-intervention red, white and rosé wines, produced using organic and biodynamic practices on high-altitude vineyards.
Region: Languedoc — Corbières (Occitanie)
Country: France
Founded: 2015
Grapes: Carignan, Grenache (noir), Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Syrah, Roussanne, Macabeu (Macabeo), Vermentino (Rolle)
Vineyards at mid-to-high altitude on terraces and slopes in the Corbières. Vineyard work follows organic practices, and many parcels are managed biodynamically. Low-intervention winemaking: indigenous yeasts, use of concrete tanks and used barrels, often bottled without filtration. Range of local blends: Carignan, Grenache, Macabeu, Roussanne, Vermentino, Syrah Small producer with very old vineyard parcels; for some parcels.
Winery history
According to commercial sources and technical materials, the project is led by Gaëlle and Florian Richter. The domaine was established as a modern winemaking estate in recent years and has quickly developed a range of cuvées typical of the Corbières. Information on the dating and development of the domaine is taken from technical datasheets and online distributor presentations.
Production philosophy
Vineyard work is oriented toward organic farming and, for many cuvées, biodynamics; hand-harvesting, use of indigenous yeasts, low-intervention winemaking, and bottling often without fining or filtration. In the cellar, concrete tanks and used oak barrels are employed for some cuvées, with limited amounts of sulfur dioxide.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Fontjoncouse, in the Corbières area, the vineyard sits on terraces and mid-altitude slopes with Triassic clay-limestone soils; varied exposures and terraced parcels characterize the area.
