The Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva "Giunonico" from Paolo Leo Winery is a high-caliber red wine that enchants the senses with its powerful and richly nuanced expression. Cultivated on the fertile lands of Puglia, this wine is the result of a careful selection of the best Primitivo grapes, known for their ability to create wines of extraordinary intensity and complexity.

Visually, the "Giunonico" presents itself with a deep and seductive ruby red color, with slightly garnet reflections that develop over the years. On the nose, it unveils a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits such as black cherry and plum, along with sensations of tobacco and sweet spices derived from careful maturation in barriques.

On the palate, the Primitivo di Manduria Riserva shows its full potential, offering an enveloping and perfectly balanced taste. Notes of ripe fruit blend with hints of vanilla and chocolate, delivering a velvety sensation that lingers long after the first sip. The tannic structure is well-present but elegantly integrated, a testament to expert aging.

Ideal for accompanying robust dishes such as grilled red meats, rich stews, or aged cheeses, Paolo Leo's "Giunonico" is a wine that also shines as the star of the end of a meal, perhaps paired with a selection of dark chocolates.

Serve at a temperature of around 18°C to fully appreciate its richness and complexity. Although it can be enjoyed immediately, this wine is also well-suited for further aging, developing even more nuances of taste and aroma over time.
