The Barolo DOCG "Ginestra-Vigna del Gris" produced by Conterno Fantino is an excellent interpretation of Nebbiolo coming from the prestigious Gris vineyard, located in the Monforte d'Alba area, in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. The Conterno Fantino winery, respected for its dedication to quality and innovation, has created a wine that captures the essence and elegance of the surrounding area.

This Barolo has an intense garnet red color, with orange reflections that develop with aging. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by hints of dried flowers, spices, tobacco and a light touch of undergrowth, which add aromatic depth and richness.

In the mouth, Barolo "Ginestra-Vigna del Gris" reveals a powerful and refined structure, with robust but silky tannins that give the wine a pleasant softness and a long tasting persistence. The lively acidity and minerality further highlight the complexity of the wine, leading to an elegant and persistent finish, characterized by persistent aromatic returns.

This extraordinary Barolo is an ideal companion for rich and structured dishes of Piedmontese and international cuisine, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses. Thanks to its structure and complexity, it is also a wine that lends itself well to meditation and tasting in moments of relaxation and contemplation.
