The Primitivo di Manduria DOP Papale Oro by Varvaglione is a dense and refined red wine that nobly celebrates the Primitivo grape, cultivated in the fertile lands of Puglia. This wine presents itself with a deep ruby red color, almost impenetrable, revealing hints of violet at the rim of the glass. On the nose, the bouquet is intense and complex, with dominant aromas of ripe red fruits like plum and cherry, accompanied by notes of vanilla and sweet spices, thanks to aging in barriques.

On the palate, Papale Oro caresses with a robust yet elegantly balanced structure, offering a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins. The finish is persistent, leaving a pleasantly spicy aftertaste. It is a wine that promises excellent evolution and longevity.

Ideal for accompanying structured dishes such as grilled red meat, game-based dishes, and aged cheeses. Its complexity also makes it perfect as a meditation wine. Serve it at a temperature of 18°C to enhance all its qualities.
