The Granbruno Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 from Castello Di Radda is a wine that embodies the typical elegance and liveliness of Tuscany. This label shines with an intense ruby red color, which foreshadows a richly aromatic bouquet. On the nose, one can detect notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and blueberries, accompanied by hints of sweet spices and a slight vanilla touch, resulting from a meticulous barrel aging process.

On the palate, the Granbruno stands out for its balanced structure, with soft tannins that harmoniously blend with vibrant acidity. The persistent flavor and excellent gustatory harmony make this wine an excellent companion for robust red meat dishes, aged cheeses, and complex Tuscan cuisine dishes.

Producer: Castello Di Radda has solidified its reputation by producing wines that reflect the authenticity and tradition of the Chianti region, and the Granbruno Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 is an excellent example of their commitment to quality and the expression of the terroir.

Winery history
The estate, located in the Il Becco locality of Radda in Chianti, became part of the Gussalli Beretta family's project in the early 2000s: the acquisition and the subsequent production and facilities relaunch are reported to have taken place in 2003. After the vineyards were restored, a large, mostly underground winery was built, integrated into the local landscape. Today Castello di Radda is part of the Agricole Gussalli Beretta group.
Production philosophy
The estate prioritizes careful agronomic management and a reduced environmental impact: landscape conservation, waste reduction, and low-energy practices. From vineyard to cellar, the approach focuses on meticulous grape selection and winemaking that highlights the terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
It is located in the UGA of Radda in Chianti and is characterized by one of the coolest climates in the Chianti Classico area, pronounced diurnal temperature variations and clay-limestone soils rich in rock fragments: conditions suitable for the controlled ripening of Sangiovese. The 'Il Corno' vineyard mentioned by the estate covers a substantial area at about 400 m a.s.l.
Awards and recognitions
The wines have received ratings and recognitions in specialized publications, and references to Gambero Rosso recognitions are included.
