The Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC - Opera Omnia - La Madonnina is a prestigious red wine that embodies the essence of the Tuscan territory from which it originates. Produced by the renowned La Madonnina winery, this wine represents the pinnacle of quality and authenticity.

Opera Omnia is primarily crafted from a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a touch of Sangiovese grapes, grown in the favorable climatic conditions and particularly fertile soil of the Bolgheri area. This blend endows the wine with a robust structure and a fascinating aromatic complexity.

The winemaking process employs techniques that preserve and enhance the varietal characteristics of the grapes. The wine is then aged in French oak barriques for a period varying from 18 to 24 months, depending on the season, followed by further refinement in the bottle. This process grants the Bolgheri Rosso Superiore an extraordinary power and nobility.

From a sensory perspective, the wine displays an intense and deep ruby red color. On the nose, generous notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a light hint of vanilla and chocolate emerge, attesting to the significant aging in barriques. On the palate, Opera Omnia shows a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, with a long and persistent finish that portrays all the nuances experienced on the nose.

This Bolgheri Rosso Superiore can be beautifully paired with dishes of red meats, game, or aged cheeses, but it is also an excellent choice for special occasions or to be kept in the cellar for a future tasting when it will have reached a more complex maturity. If you are looking for a wine that symbolizes the elegance and richness of Tuscany, Opera Omnia - La Madonnina is a must-have option for every wine lover's selection.
